Cultural Landscape Foundation awards Cultural Landscape Award for Design to National World War I Memorial

The 2026 WLA Professional Awards received over 275 entries across 16 categories from landscape architecture firms worldwide. This year, the jury had a hard time selecting the winners from over 25 countries.

The WLA Awards aim to celebrate the top achievements in global landscape architecture, acknowledging both built and conceptual projects. Many of these projects develop landscapes and spaces that tackle challenges faced by communities, cities, and the natural environment. This year’s winners showcase exceptional projects from around the world.

The jury undertook a rigorous three-round judging process (which included jurors recusing themselves when a conflict of interest arose) over the past few months. World Landscape Architecture is pleased to announce that the jury has selected the following entries from the shortlisted entries as winners of the 2026 WLA Professional Awards (alphabetical order by project name):
