There is a unique and reverent opportunity to remember beloved Veterans and family heroes with a playing of Taps in their name. Each day without fail, precisely at 5 pm Eastern, a bugler sounds Taps at the National WWI Memorial in Washington, D.C.

For over 1,000 consecutive days a bugler sounded the sonorous 24 notes of Taps, dedicated to every individual who has ever served or is serving in the U.S. Armed Forces; especially to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for freedom and democracy.

To ensure that these heroes are eternally remembered, the Daily Taps Program presents a singular opportunity to dedicate a personalized rendition of Taps in honor of your beloved Veteran on a selected day of your choosing.

Your presence in Washington, D.C. is not required to bestow this honor. The ceremony is streamed live on YouTube, allowing the whole family to partake in this moving commemorative experience with your Veteran’s service scrolling across the screen.

This special moment can be experienced live on the day of tribute and will remain accessible on-demand indefinitely.
