The Doughboy Foundation’s mission is to educate the public about the American experience in WWI and honor the 4.7 million Americans: Doughboys, sailors, nurses, and more, who served in the war that changed the world. As Stewards of the National WWI Memorial, we ensure that their legacy of service and sacrifice is never forgotten. We do this through sounding Daily Taps, our Education and Community Outreach programs and our Arts and Culture programs. We believe education through entertainment is a great way to reach people.
