Bugler Summit participants
On August 16-17, Taps For Veterans, in partnership with the Doughboy Foundation, will present a Bugler Summit. Buglers, trumpet players, and military musicians of all levels are invited to come together for a weekend of learning, music, and camaraderie dedicated to the art and tradition of sounding Taps.
Gettysburg, PA provides a historic location for a powerful weekend celebrating the sacred sound of Taps and the musicians who keep this timeless tradition alive.
Taps is sounded every day at the National World War I Memorial in Washington, DC, and in Gettysburg during the summer for 100 nights at the Pennsylvania Memorial.
The 2025 Bugler Summit invites buglers, cornet and trumpet players of all levels to come together for an unforgettable weekend experience of learning, music, and camaraderie. Whether you're a seasoned performer or just getting started, this gathering is your chance to deepen your skills, connect with fellow musicians, and honor the legacy of those who have served.
Through workshops, ensemble playing, expert-led sessions, and historical exploration, we'll unite in our shared purpose—to preserve and perform one of our nation's most solemn musical traditions.
