DESCRIPTION:The Doughboy Foundation and The Delegation of Flanders to the United States invites you to the Annual In Flanders Fields Memorial Rememberance in Washington\, DC.   The evening begins with a solemn Ceremony at the National World War I Memorial at 5 pm\, followed by a reception\, talk\, and keynote at a nearby venue. \nHeld in partnership with honored guests\, this ceremony commemorates the soldiers who died in the Great War and the symbolic red poppy of Flanders Fields. DESCRIPTION:The Doughboy Foundation and The Delegation of Flanders will\, on the occasion of Memorial Day and to commemorate those who made the ultimate sacrifice\, observe “In Flanders Fields” during World War I with a wreath ceremony at Arlington National Cemetery\, at the Argonne Cross\, at 2 pm\, a seminar at the Willard Office Center\, 8th Floor at 3 pm. Join us in honoring American soldiers at Memorial Day commemorations in Washington\, D.C.. Two research staff members from In Flanders Fields Museum will present their research. Light refreshments will be served.
